Rescued Street Dogs Were Used As Ball Boys At The Brazil Open And It Was The Best Thing Ever
No ball boys here! At the Brazil Open, the tennis balls were a little more slobbery than usual thanks to four former street dogs now shelter dogs who served as “ball dogs.”
The four dogs – Frida, Isabelle, Costela, and Mel – were part of an initiative started by Marli Scaramella that aimed to show the world that shelter dogs are worthy, incredible companions (so go adopt one!).
These four furballs went through “ball dog” training for months, culminating in their one special day where their only job was to “GET THE BALL, BALL, BALL.”
Sounds like a dream job to us!
