This Polish Guy, called Radoslaw Czerkawski, was successfully convicted of abusing a Pit Bull mix breed dog called Kiyah, the dog was euthanized due to the sheer extent of her injuries, yet another brutal and horrid person, it’s so sad that she could not be saved!
“Puppy Doe” as she was called didn’t stand a chance the poor girl, what kind of person, really, could harm a defenseless animal like this, but in this case, we find out just who.
“Puppy Doe” was found August 31, 2013, close to a playground in Quincy, Massachusetts. She, e was barely alive at the time and had many injuries, even what looked like a stab wound in her right eye as well as burns to her nose.
The Polish national was sentenced to 8-10 years in prison then deportation for the torturous acts to the poor doggie, he was forbidden from ever owning another animal in addition…
Will he reflect on the error of his ways in prison? Highly unlikely we think, but either way after his sentence he is going to be on his way back to Poland where we hope he won’t harm any other animals.
The Animal Rescue League of Boston said:
“In addition to being starved and beaten on many occasions, causing fractures to the head and body, she appears to have undergone some kind of crude cutting to create a serpent-like split to her tongue.”
District Attorney Morrissey said:
“Before Radoslaw Czerkawski had been located and charged with Kiyah’s abuse…”
“The injuries cataloged in the post-mortem examination are grotesque and indicate consistent starvation and abuse over an extended period of time.”
“It is highly unlikely that this level of sadistic cruelty could be shown to one animal and not be part of a pattern involving other animals or perhaps vulnerable people.”
“We need to find the person who did this and see what else they are doing.”
The Polish guy bought Kiyah from a Craigslist advert just a few months before she was found near death, but why would anyone buy a dog to abuse like this, it’s just completely sick!
Back in 2015, he was also convicted of stealing $130,000 from an elderly woman that he had been caring for and was sentenced then to 3-5 years in prison, yet here we are again, thankfully he is being sent to Poland after his sentence, but what will happen to him there?
The Animal Rescue League (ARL) President Mary Nee said:
“Today was a historic day for animal welfare in Massachusetts. With the conviction and sentencing of Radoslaw Czerkawski, it has been demonstrated that people who commit animal cruelty, and in this case extreme cruelty, will be held accountable.”
“Ironically, Puppy Doe’s short and tragic life was the impetus for stronger laws protecting all animals in the Commonwealth – and there’s still more work to do.”
SHARE and spread awareness about people like this and what they are capable of, it must come to an end!
