Six Dogs Found Abandoned In Locked Cage While Hurricane Florence’s flood waters rise

In a disaster many people just up and run, many are scared, and us dog lovers, usually, at all costs either take our dogs or stay with them, but there are some that just don’t …

The volunteers here are real heroes, they rescued some six dog’s that were abandoned in, of all of the things, a locked cage!

The poor dogs nearly drowned in that cage they were trapped in, over in North Carolina, where the flood waters from Hurricane Florence were deep and dangerous!

The video you can see below is really awesome and one huge testament to that fact is that it has been watched millions of times!

The video reveals what happened to the rescue and how it turned out, what amazing people to be there doing what they are doing!

The dogs were thankfully rescued, the property was in Leland, North Carolina, and their owners just abandoned them and fled Hurricane Florence, no thought for the poor dogs left trapped and distressed.

Journalist Marcus DiPaola posted on Twitter on Sunday:

“Rescued six dogs in Leland, NC, after the owner LEFT THEM locked in an outdoor cage that filled with flood water that was rapidly rising”

We know we could never leave our beautiful and loving dogs like this, they would be with us every step of the way!

He also added:

“We got them out, but by the time we left, the water was so high that they would have drowned. BRING YOUR PETS WITH YOU! #HurricaneFlorence”

The poor dogs are whimpering as they see the people come towards them, Ryan Nichols, waded towards them, then they knew that people were something to help, it brings a tear to my eyes!

Then Nichols manages to unlock the chain link fence that has the trapped there, the dogs swim out, almost powered by tail wags, whimpering and screeching with joy.

Team Headed by beautiful husky dog!

The dogs find a safe place to swim to the land, a wooded area, followed by the volunteer rescuers also.

Apparently, there are 12 fatalities in North Carolina as a result of the hurricane, it’s truly awful.
