We hear some shocking stories for sure, but this one ranks up there with the worst of the worse, our heart goes out to this poor dog…
In fact, it’s such a bad case that the Webster Humane Association is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for this heinous crime.
Animal cruelty at this level is a really bad thing, it’s a crime that can lead to even more serious crimes against people too, it’s a well-known fact.
It’s said that the police found the dog, now called Faith, on the roadside near the I-20, her legs tied tightly together with duct-tape, many cars had hit and dragged her, poor girl.
Sadly though the poor girl was in so much pain that there was nothing that could be done for her and the kindest thing left to do was to put her to sleep.
The Facebook post about her said:
“Unfortunately Faith, as we named her, had sustained too many injuries to recover …she had multiple skull fractures, her entire head and eyes were swollen, and her body covered in road rash and wounds.”
The authorities said that the dog was pushed out of a vehicle near mile marker 40 the Goodwill Exit, on eastbound I-20, and she was tied so unable to move, consequently at the mercy of the traffic to hot and drag her.
The WHA said:
“Was it not enough to throw her out on the street? You had to duct tape her legs together and throw her out on the interstate where she would be run over and dragged by cars”
We feel so sad to think that another human being if you can call them that, did this to the poor girl, we are lost for words, but our prayers are for Faith, and that justice will find the people responsible for this terrible crime!
