Watch How Sergeant Todaro’s Dog Cries in Joy When She Returns Home

Sergeant Lisa Todaro, an Air National Guard, returned from her six-month stint to her home in East Hartford, Connecticut.

She was to be completely surprised by her friend with four legs, overcome with excitement to see his owner!

Zeus, her four-legged friend, was eagerly waiting for her arrival just the other side of the door, madly wagging his tail in expectation. Zeus practically howled with joy, singing and licking her face as soon as she came through the door!

Lisa happens to be a specialist in human resources. She works for the National Guard, so she gets to process enlistment papers for all the newly enlisted members, briefs on retirement and work safety.

Lisa has participated in many deployments, recently to Ramstein Air FOrce Base In Germany in July having the opportunity to train alongside counterparts in active duty like herself.

Lisa’s friends saw the video posted on Facebook, on her page, and shared it with WTIC, since then is gone viral!

There are many videos of similar situations and dogs becoming overcome with joy to see their owners coming home from deployments, this is one of those awesome videos!

This video is reminiscent of the golden retriever called Buddy who welcomed her owner home from the army, returning from a training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. It shows the strong bond, like here, between owner and dog!

Completely awesome, such a strong bond they have, we love it!
