Tries To Dig His Way Out When Owner Left Him All Alone!

We are all familiar, one way or another, with separation anxiety, where our dogs feel really anxious because they are on their own, but this case was truly exceptional…

This doggie scratched the door to absolute pieces because his owner left him in the hose by himself for three hours…

His Owner, Tara Jameson, came home to find the devastation, she returned from a friend’s wedding in fact, but it was a real surprise, but not a nice surprise at all…

Her dog Bobbie has really chewed his way through the door, it was her mom’s house in Teesside, Newcastle in the United Kingdom.

He really did a good job, there was about $2000 (£1500) damage in total, this four-year-old cockapoo really did show how upset he was on his own.

Tara; 29-years-old left her dog, Bobbie, a lovely bed and a box of toys to play with, to keep him busy, but he never even touched them…

Tara said:

”He has scratched his nails against the door so much they had gone into a point and he was soaking wet with sweat. I felt so sorry for him”

She said that the doggie went through a ‘destructive phase’ after her mum’s dog had died, but even then she was shocked by the level of destruction in such a short space of time.

Tara had said that her dog, Bobbie really missed the other dog, in fact, so much that she even took him to a dog therapist to try to help him.

Tara said:

“Bobbie went through a phase where he became quite destructive when he was left and I even got a dog therapist to try and help”

“I moved in with my mum and a few days before we sadly lost our old dog. He loved her so much and really missed her.”

“It caused him to have separation anxiety and so I would go back to the house every couple of hours to check on him. ‘But this was the worst he had ever done and it wasn’t even my own house.”

“At first I was shocked and angry but he was just so upset about being on his own I could understand why he had done it.”

This one incident was almost unbelievable because before this there was just one incident where Bobbie had chewed small objects like socks and shoes.

Tara said:

“He is not so bad now and only causes damage on the odd occasion. ‘But he can get quite jealous and when me and my boyfriend head of the house he howls a lot”

“At the start of the night he will be asleep at the end of the bed but by the morning he is on my pillow.”

We hope that Bobbie is starting to feel a lot better now that his doggie therapist really can help him even more!
